Mike Nyisztor had 16 points, including a pair of three-pointers in the fourth quarter, to pace Toms River North to a 50-45 win over Red Bank Catholic in the championship game of the boys division of the WOBM Christmas Classic in Toms River Tuesday night. RBC came back from a seven-point deficit to take a 40-39 lead in the fourth quarter, but Nyisztor drained back-to-back threes to spark a 7-0 run. Shore Sports Zone has the video highlights.

BYRNE’S 23 HELP PUT RBC IN WOBM FINALS

In a game that went back-and-forth, the Red Bank Catholic boys’ basketball squad pulled off a 60-57 win over Freehold Township in the WOBM Christmas Classic at Toms River North High School Monday. Shore Sports Zone has the video highlights as Liam Byrne poured in 23 points for the Caseys.

The victory put RBC in the tournament championship game to be played against Toms River North at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
