RBR SENIORS ACHIEVE EAGLE SCOUT HONORS

RBR EagleRed Bank Regional High School rising seniors Andrew Noglows and Sam Gregg were celebrated for their attainment of Eagle Scout at their June 28 Court of Honor for Troop 126 in Little Silver.

At a June 28 Court of Honor ceremony hosted by the Woman’s Club of Little Silver, two Red Bank Regional High School rising seniors were celebrated for their recent attainment of Eagle Scout rank by Little Silver Boy Scout Troop 126.

Andrew Noglows and Sam Gregg, both of Little Silver, have come through scouting together since 5th grade, with Sam having entered scouting as a cub scout. Both boys will be commended by the RBR Board of Education for achieving the highest honor in Boy Scouting.

LITTLE SILVER KIDS RECYCLE A GREAT IDEA

Earth_Day_CLASS_PICStudents from Point Road School in Little Silver present grocery bags decorated with Earth-friendly messages as part of the eighth annual Earth Day partnership between the school and Sickles Market.

As part of a local Earth Day Celebration that’s now in its eighth year, the students of Point Road School in Little Silver will be presenting hundreds of hand-decorated grocery bags to Sickles Market at 2:10 pm on Friday, April 17.

Sickles Market will then display the bags — each of them customized with the students’ Earth Day messages — until Earth Day, Wednesday April 22, when the Sickles staff will distribute the colorful grocery bags to their delighted customers.
