RBR VOICES JOIN IN HONORS CHORUS

Two vocal majors from the Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Red Bank Regional High School have been selected to be part of the prestigious All Eastern Mixed Chorus. The two RBR students — Erin Ostrowski of Little Silver, and Jade Glab of Belmar — were selected from the ranks of students who earned spots in the New Jersey All State Chorus held earlier in the year.

Erin and Jake will join the 350 other students in the mixed chorus out of 1700, representing 11 northeastern states as well as the District of Columbia. The chorus is affiliated with NAfME, the National Association for Music Education.

Five vocal majors from Red Bank Regional High School‘s esteemed Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPA) have been selected for the prestigious All State Choir. They are senior Danielle Wolf, Shrewsbury (third year at All State); senior Jade Glab, Belmar (third year at All State); senior Victoria White, Union Beach (second year at All State); junior Erin Ostrowski, Little Silver, (second year at All State); and sophomore Maddie Stout, Neptune City, who debuts at All State this year.

The young ladies are all members of the All State Mixed Chorus, except Victoria White who will perform with the Treble Choir. The latter is composed solely of female singers.

Two vocal majors at Red Bank Regional High School‘s Visual and Performing Arts academy have received the esteemed distinction of acceptance to the very prestigious All-National Honors Ensembles sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).

Shannon O’Donnell and Brooke McDermott, both of Little Silver, will perform at the historic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN during the NAfME National Conference in October, 2014, along with the other top teenage vocalists in the country selected to the National Choir. Both will be performing in the mixed chorus.

Red Bank Regional High School is honored to announce that two of its Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) students, Patrick Martini of Union Beach and Matthew Rosen of Little Silver, have reached the pinnacle in their high school music careers with their acceptance to the very prestigious All-National Honors Ensembles sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).

The RBR students are among 637 top high school music students in the country to earn this honor. Both will perform, Patrick in the mixed chorus and Matt in the concert band, at a gala concert on October 30, 2013, in Nashville Tennessee.
