February 3– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) stole her cell phone sometime throughout the day. P. O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

February 4– Rodney Williams, 19, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following an investigation at the Acme Supermarket on Prospect Ave. and charged with Theft. P.O. Frank Salerno made the arrest.

January 4– A resident from Hickory Ln. reported Identity Theft after discovering that an unknown person(s) attempted to open credit card accounts in their name. P.O. Michael Lahey investigated.

January 6– A resident from Laurel Dr. reported Theft after discovering that an unknown person(s) stole cash from their wallet that was accidentally dropped in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot. P.O. Peter Giblin investigated.

LITTLE SILVER POLICE BLOTTER FOR DECEMBER

December 1– Kachina Whittaker, 40, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Oceanport Ave. and charged with Hindering Apprehension for providing false information to a police officer. Whittaker was also charged with several other motor vehicle violations and had active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Red Bank, Tinton Falls and Brick Municipal Courts. P.O. Amanda Arnold made the arrest.

December 1– A resident from Willow Dr. reported Criminal Mischief after discovering that an unknown subject(s) knocked his mailbox down sometime during the early morning hours. Sgt. Kevin Halpin investigated.

December 4– A resident from Pine Dr. reported Theft after discovering a piece of art work was missing from inside the residence. P.O. Eric Van Schaack investigated.

Shoplifting incident occurred on 6-4-10 at East Newman Springs Rd. Two unknown black females entered the store and took a bottle of Vodka and fled the store without paying for same. Ptl. Robert Campanella.

Criminal Mischief occurring between 6-6-10 and 6-7-10 at West Westside Ave. Victim reported that unknown person(s) threw a brick through the back window of parked vehicle smashing same. Ptl. Michael Campnella.
