02/1 – Patrols were dispatched to Fair Haven Fields for a reported theft. Upon arrival they were met by the victim who reported that an unknown actor(s) had broken the rear window of her vehicle and taken and bag containing personal items. Ptl. Brooks Robinson took the report.

02/3 – Joseph Radic, 45, Colts Neck was placed under arrest subsequent to a motor vehicle stop and charged with Driving while intoxicated. Mr. Radic also received citations for Speeding, Reckless driving, Failure to maintain lane and refusal to submit to breath samples. Subject was later released pending a court appearance. Ptl. The department is on the lookout for two young men they say vandalized the jewelry shop and nearby salon Chelsea Morning early Thursday, and may have been involved in another graffiti act.

TEENS BUSTED FOR ROOFTOP GRAFFITI

Two local teenagers were arrested in Red Bank Thursday after being caught spray-painting a downtown building, police said.

Thomas Ley, 18, of Rumson, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespassing, Captain Darren McConnell said. A 17-year-old male from Red Bank was also arrested and charged with the same crimes, McConnell said.

Police are also looking into whether the two may be involved in increased graffiti incidents within the borough the last two months.
