The Red Bank Borough Public Schools are a proud participant of the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Governor’s Educator of the Year Program. Each year, the NJDOE recognizes Teachers and Educational Services Professionals throughout the State as part of the Governor’s Educator of the Year Program.
On Friday, Red Bank Primary School hosted a VIP contingent — that’s Very Impressive Produce — as the school was recognized as the winner of the state Department of Agriculture’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.

On Friday, March 31, New Jersey Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Division Director Rose Tricario and USDA representatives presented Red Bank Primary School with the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program VIP (Very Impressive Produce) Award.

The RBR Buc Backer Foundation announced its formation as a new non-profit entity dedicated to supporting Red Bank Regional High School. The new “Buc Backer” Foundation is the result of the merger of four existing RBR support groups, including the Parent Teacher Organization, the Education Foundation, the Booster Club, and the Visual and Performing Arts Parent Group.
“We realized that by combining our efforts, we could have a greater positive impact,” said Paul Noglows, acting president of the new group.
The Buc Backer Foundation is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the whole high school experience for all students. The group is primarily made up of parent volunteers all of whom are united for excellence, opportunity and cooperation at RBR.
The transformed teachers’ lounge at Red Bank Regional High School was designed, managed and funded by the RBR PTO in collaboration with the school district. It was unveiled as a special gift to the RBR staff in April at the PTO sponsored Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.

Over the spring break, the Red Bank Regional High School PTO, aided by the RBR maintenance staff and Studio Art students, pulled off a seemingly impossible feat. They totally transformed the RBR teacher’s lounge from a once banal, dreary place, to an oasis in the school building where staff could eat lunch, catch up on work, make some phone calls or just relax during their break for a few moments in a functional, bright, pleasant place.
Just as amazing, they were able to keep the six-month long project a total surprise. On Tuesday, April 22 — at, appropriately, the Teacher’s Appreciation luncheon — a symbolic ribbon was cut as stunned faces walked through the door to their new special space.

After two years of fundraising, The Red Bank Regional Buccaneer Athletic Foundation (RBRBAF) has succeeded in its founding initiative of bringing lights to the Red Bank Regional athletic field in the fruition of their “Let There Be Lights” campaign —and on the evening of September 20, the Friday Night Lights come on for the first time, as the RBR Buccaneers play the Wall Township Crimson Knights in a contest that kicks off at 7 pm.
