Press release from Red Bank Parks and Recreation
This summer, Red Bank Parks and Recreation proudly sponsored a 16-under team in the USABL summer league. Made up of Red Bank residents and/or students, the team was named the Red Bank Raiders.
The seeds to this team were sown last summer as Covid-19 canceled all high school and summer league baseball. Red Bank Recreation was able host high school players for practices and play inter-town games that started in July and
carried into the fall while following all Covid-19 safety protocols.

Little Silver officials hope to solve a longstanding problem of access to ballfields with the purchase of a vacant property, under action initiated by the borough council.
But it’s far from a done deal, hinging on financial help from Monmouth County and the property still being available when the town’s ready to make an offer.
The season of wintry weather may have descended upon the local baseball diamond, but January means thoughts of “Play Ball!”, as the first month of the calendar year represents registration time for Two River Little League.
Come spring time, recreation baseball and softball will be in full swing as TRLL begins its fourth season. Founded in 2013, the league welcomes young residents of Red Bank, Little Silver, Shrewsbury, Fair Haven and Rumson.
Participation in the league has grown each year, and in 2016 the league had its first tournament champion when the 9U TRLL East team (above) won the highly competitive NJ District 19 baseball tournament.
