RED BANK: LIGHTNING HITS HOME

A lightning strike sheared the chimney from the roof of the house at 52 South Street in Red Bank  during a downpour at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

There was no immediate indication of fire and no one was injured, according to first assistant fire chief Stu Jensen. (Photos by John T. Ward. Click to enlarge)
