LITTLE SILVER: SCHOOL TREE PLANTING SLATED

Point Road School in Little Silver will get a new tree, and each of the school’s students will get a seedling for planting elsewhere, as the Monmouth County Freeholders commemorate Arbor Day Friday.

The event, scheduled for 1 p.m. is one of three such plantings slated to be held at schools across the county that day. The others will be held in Holmdel and Marlboro.
