January 3– A victim from Ridge Rd. reported Theft after discovering that their cell phone had been stolen sometime throughout the day. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

January 6– Rudy Estrada-Alburez, 47, of Ellicott City, MD, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Rumson Rd. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Ridgefield Municipal Court. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 6– Tracy Newson, 48, of Keansburg, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Fairview Ave. for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams. P.O. Joseph Glynn, Jr. made the arrest.

January 6– A victim from a business on Sycamore Ave. reported Identity Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) cleared out the victim’s bank account. Sgt. Paul Halpin and Det. Sgt. Greg Oliva investigated.

January 8– Michael Popo, 58, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Rumson, West Long Branch, Shrewsbury and Monmouth County Superior Courts in the amount of $39,971.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 17– Kevin Lu, 21, of Ocean, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams and an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Ocean Township Municipal Court. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 17– A Simple Assault was reported after several subjects got into a physical altercation on Ridge Rd. P.O. Robert Chenoweth investigated.

January 20– Shirley Saylor, 20, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Long Branch Municipal Court in the amount of $300.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 21– A resident from Country Ln. reported Identity Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) attempted to open a credit card account in the victim’s name. P.O. Brian Miller and Det. Sgt. Greg Oliva investigated.

January 22– Timothy Walling, 29, of Eatontown, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Shrewsbury Municipal Court in the amount of $106.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 25– Peter Tanner, Jr., 29, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Breezy Point Rd. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Sayreville Municipal Court in the amount of $300.00. Sgt. Paul Halpin made the arrest.

January 26– Brian Maith, 56, of Tinton Falls, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop off of Seven Bridges Rd. for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Long Branch Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 26– Justin Williamson, 31, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Rumson Rd. for Possession of CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Woodbridge Municipal Court in the amount of $2,500.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 27– Carlos Lee, 32, of Tinton Falls, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Essex Dr. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Tinton Falls Municipal Court in the amount of $951.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 27– Daniel Weeden, 55, of Manasquan, NJ, was arrested following a bicycle violation on Ayers Ln. for Possession of CDS and an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Guttenberg Municipal Court in the amount of $500.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.

January 28– Virginia Stroby, 29, of Red Bank, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Ave. for active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Tinton Falls Municipal Court in the amount of $400.00. P.O. Frank Salerno made the arrest.

January 31– Mauricio Tavares-Dossantos, 42, of Albuquerque, NM, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop off of Branch Ave. for active Contempt of Court warrants out of the Eatontown and Jersey City Municipal Courts in the amount of $1,051.00. Sgt. Paul Halpin made the arrest.

January 31– A resident from Mayfair Ct. reported Identity Theft after discovering that an unknown subject(s) opened up credit card accounts in the victim’s name. P.O. Brian Miller and Det. Sgt. Greg Oliva investigated.

January 31– Catherine Rinaldis, 54, of Long Branch, NJ, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop off of Seven Bridges Rd. for an active Contempt of Court warrant out of the Long Branch Municipal Court in the amount of $83.00. P.O. Taylor Doremus made the arrest.
