RBC FALLS TO WALL; RFH SHUTS OUT MATAWAN

Rich Chrampanis and the video cameras of Shore Sports Zone once again delivered video highlights of some great Monmouth and Ocean county high school football games this weekend.

On the road against Wall Friday night, Red Bank Catholic was up 21-7 at the half. But a third-quarter Caseys fumble led to a game-tying touchdown and momentum changer for the Crimson Knights, who went on to win, 27-21. RBC, now 3-2, travels to Long Branch (1-4) for its next game, on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs bounced back from their week-prior loss to Middletown South with a convincing 21- win at Matawan. Subbing for injured quarterback Mike O’Connor and making his first-ever start in the position, Jack Volker threw for 95 yards and two TDs in leading the Bulldogs back. Now 3-1, They’ll host undefeated Saint John Vianney Friday night.

Red Bank Regional had a bye week, following the prior weekend’s postponement due to illness among Holmdel players. The Buccaneers return to action on the road against Monmouth Regional on Saturday. (Video courtesy of Shore Sports Zone)
