RED BANK: COPS SEEK HELP ON SHOTS FIRED

AUTHORITIES_RB-2016-v2Red Bank police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who fired at least two shots on the West Side Wednesday afternoon.

Chief Darren McConnell told redbankgreen Wednesday night that police recovered two shell casings from the scene of the 4:15 p.m. incident, on Tilton Avenue near West Bergen Place.

The incident did not occur within the Montgomery Terrace apartment complex, as reported elsewhere, he said.

No one is believed to have been injured, McConnell.

McConnell described the suspect only as a black male. Police believe he was on foot at when he fired before fleeing in an unidentified vehicle, McConnell said.
