FAIR HAVEN: POLICE REPORTS

Crime and arrest reports, unedited, as provided by the Fair Haven Police Department for the month of April, 2015.

AUTHORITIES_FH24/3- An Oxford Ave resident reported that an unknown subject(s) had attempted to defraud the victim through a PayPal account. Ptl. John Koetzner took the report.

4/9- Janienn Dastagirzada, 32, Red Bank, was placed under arrested after an active traffic warrant for her arrest was located during a call for service. Subject was released after posting full cash bail. Det. Stephen Schneider was the arresting Officer.

04/11- Mark Maroney, 38, Locust, was placed under arrested following a traffic stop for speeding. Mr. Maroney was subsequently charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, speeding and refusal to submit to chemical testing of his breath. Subject was later released pending an appearance at the Fair Haven Municipal Court. Ptl. William Lagrotteria was the arresting Officer.

04/13- A Parker Ave resident reported the theft of a cell phone. Ptl. Christian Hostrup took the report.

04/13- A Spruce Drive resident reported that an unknown subject(s) had filed a fraudulent tax return utilizing the victim’s social security number. Ptl. John Koetzner took the report.

04/16- A Cambridge Ave resident reported that an unknown subject had filed a fraudulent tax return with the victim’s social security number. Cpl. John Waltz took the report.

04/17- William Crawford, 22, Long Branch was placed under arrest following a traffic stop for driving under the influence. Mr. Crawford also received citations for failure to maintain lane and reckless driving. Subject was later released pending a Fair Haven Municipal court appearance. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer

04/23- A Church Street resident reported the theft of copper piping from his A/C unit of his residence. Ptl. Eric Patton took the report.

04/26-Alan Sharpiro, 46, Rumson was placed under arrest after an active warrant was located during a traffic stop. Mr. Sharpiro was transported to HDQS were he was processed and later released after posting full cash bail. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer.

04/28- A Navesink Ave resident reported the theft of a plastic pipe from his property. Ptl. Eric Patton took the report and is investigating.
