Like Tevye, in ‘Fiddler on the Roof,’ PieHole has tradition on its mind this holiday season.
We’re calling on all home cooks and bakers to share with us the holiday food traditions that grace your table every year.
Is there an heirloom recipe passed down from generation to generation in your family? What is the one dish that is absolutely always part of the holidays? Do you whip up culinary magic as gifts for others? Or does your family partake in a culturally diverse feast? Do you have special cookie recipes you’d like to share, or a traditional dessert that defines your holiday repertoire?
Whether the dish is one you bring to the annual potluck or made from produce in your garden, PieHole wants to know. Share with us what will be on the stove or in the oven in your kitchen this season. We’ll spotlight a couple and, in he process, get a nice conversation going, we hope.
Post a comment or contact us at piehole@redbankgreen.com and make that tamale recipe, potato latke or spanakopita that your friends and family rave about famous.
