FAIR HAVEN: WAITING FOR SANTA

A drizzly night didn’t stop the hearty kids and adults of Fair Haven from coming out to greet Santa Claus Friday night.
Leaving his sleigh at the North Pole until Christmas Eve, jolly old St. Nick got a lift to the annual Christmas tree lighting from the Fair Haven Volunteer Fire Department.

Mayor Ben Lucarelli was on hand to greet the children and throw the switch that lit up Memorial Park’s Christmas tree.
Dentist Paul Ferguson hosted cornhole games and a lit a fire pit in front of his office on River Road.
Tweedle Dee Antiques opened its doors to a festive array of vintage clad Christmas trees and live Christmas Carolers.
Cravin’ Haven employees ladled out cups of free chili.
A rather svelte Frosty the Snowman made an appearance.
Maureen Bay, owner of the soon-to-close Gem of an Idea, helped Umberto’s Pizzeria hand out pizza.
