VETERANS DAY CEREMONIES 2014

LITTLE SILVER: Veterans Day observance with the dedication of a Blue Star By-Way Marker to recognize the service of military personnel in foreign wars. Memorial Park, Prospect Avenue opposite Kings Road, 11 a.m. Borough offices are closed.
RED BANK: In conjunction with Elks Club #233, the borough holds its annual commemoration of military service at 11 a.m. at the War Veteran’s Monument, at the corner of Monmouth Street and Drummond Place. Monmouth Street will be closed to traffic between Broad and Drummond during the duration of the event. Borough offices are closed.
RED BANK: At the suggestion of Mayor Pasquale Menna, Trinity Episcopal Church will hold an ecumenical church service to honor the area veterans at 7 p.m. The event is open to all at 65 West Front Street.
RUMSON: Borough offices are open.
SEA BRIGHT: Wreath-laying ceremony outside police headquarters, 11 a.m. Borough offices are closed.
SHREWSBURY: Borough offices closed.
