Amid talk of a northeaster – or, as the Pepperidge Farm voiceover guy might say, a ‘nor-eastuh’ – dumping snow on much of New Jersey, here’s the weather outlook for the greater Red  Bank Green for the next few days…

After getting pelted with up to an inch of rain Wednesday, expact about an inch of snow overnight into Thanksgiving, according to Weather Underground. The National Weather Service puts the expected accumulation total at just half an inch, while as of 10 a.m. Wednesday, an interactive forecast map at NJ.com was showing our region getting 1.3 inches.

On Thursday, there’s a slight – 20 percent –  chance of rain or snow through most of the day, says the NWS. Temps will drop to as low as 28 degrees overnight.

Friday should be sunny through most of the day with temperatures again dropping from the low 40s to the high 20s overnight. Meantime, the open-air Holiday Express concert and town light-up scheduled in downtown Red Bank should once again be chilly and precipitation-free.
