RUMSON: KEGGER HOMEOWNER CITED

By JOHN T. WARD

The owner of a Rumson home where police found 50 underage partiers consuming alcohol last Saturday night has been issued a summons, police said.

Lori Krikorian, 48, who police said was present when they arrived, was cited Thursday for maintaining a nuisance, Detective Chris Isherwood said in a prepared statement issued Friday.

As previously reported by redbankgreen, police on patrol came upon “large packs of kids running in the road” outside a Rumson Road residence at about 10:48 p.m.

After finding “numerous bottles of alcohol and cases of scattered beer cans, both opened and unopened,” and  dozens under-21 revelers, police dispersed the crowd, calling parents to retrieve some kids and driving others home, Isherwood said.

Police arrested 18-year-old borough resident Kieran Doherty, who was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of the administration of the law for allegedly providing false information, and criminal mischief for breaking a window in the rear of the police vehicle. Doherty was released on $7,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Krikorian faces a fine if found guilty in municipal court.
