Residents of The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, a Springpoint Senior Living community, continue to expand their outreach to the community of Red Bank, most recently with a nearby adoption agency.

Knitting enthusiasts at The Atrium are designing baby items and donating them to the nearby Family Options Adoption Agency and Counseling Center in Red Bank.  The loving hands are weaving multi-hued baby caps, blankets, quilts and soft toys for the local agency.

The yarn spinners meet on a weekly basis in the Atrium Art Studio.  It’s been a great way for residents to meet members, make new friends and share their histories; some even learn a new skill.  Along with The Atrium, many volunteers contribute supplies to the group.  A close-knit bond has formed among the group members who include Wendy Gansberg (chairperson), Dorothy Grossman, Theresa Maresca, Elizabeth Mautner, Carol Morgan, Carmen Rice, Kathyrn Shultes, Louise Vetter, Barbara Wilson, and Barbara Withers.

Many of the residents at The Atrium have deep roots in Red Bank, Rumson and surrounding areas.  They are extremely active in helping to enrich Red Bank through their community support, services and contributions.
