RB FAMILY EYECARE SENDS YOUTH TO CAMP

Press release from Red Bank Family Eyecare

On Thursday, June 5, Dr. Erin Curtis and Red Bank Family Eye Care hosted a benefit for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, raising $4500 for summer camp programming. Held on the lawn of the Red Bank Family Eyecare office on Front Street, over 160 supporters attended the event, which featured a silent auction, a basket auction, raffles, a trunk show, and delicious hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

BGCM has locations in Red Bank and Asbury Park, providing fun, educational, and character-building programming for over 800 children each year. Born and raised in Red Bank, Dr. Curtis has a deep commitment to the community and jumped at the chance to help send more children to BGCM’s summer camps.

“We are so grateful for the support of Dr. Curtis and her staff,” stated Douglas Eagles, Executive Director of BGCM. “We simply couldn’t do the work we do without the passion and dedication of our community partners, donors, and advocates.”

BGCM’s summer camps offer structured recreational activities, daily learning modules, book clubs, daily recreational swims, arts and crafts, and weekly field trips.
