Emergency medical personnel from MONOC tended to a pedestrian struck as he crossed Front Street at Broad Street in Red Bank around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said Joseph Connolly, of Manalapan, was taken to Riverview Medical Center with a leg injury. Motorist Fernanda Oleivera, of Red Bank, who was turning left onto Front from Broad, was issued a summons for failure to stop for a pedestrian, said police Chief Darren McConnell.
