Commuters face possibly hazardous driving conditions Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service said freezing rain could lay up to a quarter-inch of ice on roads and sidewalks by 9 a.m.
The precipitation was expected to change to all rain and last into early afternoon, with temperatures rising to about 38 degrees, according to the Weather Channel.
