New Jersey Transit is reporting train delays of up to an hour in both directions on the North Jersey Coast Line this morning.

The cause cited in an online alert is an “overhead wire problem near Red Bank.”

NJT and Academy buses are cross-honoring all coast line tickets and passes this morning, the agency reports.
The problem has been lingering since before dawn, when NJ Transit began issuing delay reports about specific trains.
