ART SPEAKS ON MONMOUTH

This month, art speaks at the Art Alliance of Monmouth County.
Mary Shannon, who’s guest curating, tells redbankgreen that the works in the show she’s organized for the group’s Red Bank gallery “tell stories” of human experiences, including immigration and racial discrimination.
The alliance, which changes its display monthly, will hold a reception for Art Speaks from 6 to 9p on Saturday evening that is, as usual, open to the public.
On July 25, the gallery will host a program of storytelling for children.
The gallery is at 33 Monmouth Street.
