It’s official: there’s now a four-way stop at Bridge Avenue and Chestnut Street in Red Bank.
Borough public works employees replaced two amber lenses in a four-lens flashing traffic signal, painted new stop lines and unbagged new stop signs at 1:30p today.
Within minutes, we’re told, a motorist had clipped a portable stop sign installed on the center line of Bridge with her vehicle. No details were immediately available.
