A WHITE-OUT, AS SEEN FROM oRBit
Talk about “a show about nothing:” Yasmina Reza’s Tony-award winning play Art centers on an all-white painting in which one of the three characters invests a hefty sum.
What ensues, though, is emphatically not nothing not to these guys. The painting lays bare hidden strains between the men.
The show, a dark comedy, begins a three-week run at Red Bank’s Two River Theater this week. But ticketholders will get more than just a stage production for the price of their ducats. Somebody at TRT had the brilliant idea of hanging a show of artwork in the lobby all-white artwork, created for the occasion by Laurel Tracy Gallery co-owner Jon Peters.
Who has the story on all this… somethingness? Red Bank oRBit, of course.
