YARD SALE FORMS: GET ‘EM HERE!
OK, early birds. The first-ever Red Bank Townwide Yard Sale, scheduled for September 20, is coming together. And for those who plan ahead, here’s some helpful starter info.
There are some rules. The borough of Red Bank is asking that participating sellers register with the Public Utilities department and pay a fee of $10. Though the usual bulk-waste rules apply residents must call to schedule pickups, even when the town is slated to pickup on your side of the part of the fee is to help the town cover any unexpected bulk-waste tipping fees at the county landfill resulting from goods left out on the curb after the sale.
A portion of the fee will go to toward advertising the event. (For the record, redbankgreen is not receiving any of these funds.)
So here’s your starter kit:

redbankgreen, courtesy of advertisers Antique Center of Red Bank and Prown’s Home Improvements, will have an entire webpage of information devoted to the yard sale, including answers to nuts-and-bolts questions, tips from an expert on how to make the most of your sale, a video and other fun stuff. We hope to launch it next week, so stay tuned.
