On July 26, more than two dozen jet skiers and waverunners are expected to depart from Oyster Point Red Bank, head down the Navesink River and out to sea, touching base at the Statue of Liberty before heading back.
The event, Making Waves for Autism, is a fundraiser for Improving Middletown’s Program for Autistic Children Together (IMPACT)
Afterward, IMPACT will host entertainment at Chris’s River Plaza Marina on West Front Street, with food, music, a 50/50 raffle and more.

SATURDAY, JULY 26: Helping hand for a Marine
Red Bank Elks Lodge 233 on West Front Street will hold a fundraiser for U.S. Marine Cpl. Kamal Bowen of Piscataway, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and is confined to a wheelchair as a result of a car accident in Hiroshima, Japan in early 2007.

SATURDAY, JULY 26: Aslan Gala
Aslan Youth Ministries, a local non-profit that provides leadership programs for disadvantaged youth in Monmouth County, will host its largest fundraiser of the year from 5:30 to 11p. The event, to be held at 41 Breezy Point in Little Silver, will feature dinner, cocktails, live entertainment by the BethAnne Clayton Band,
a silent auction and sunset sailing on the Navesink River on behalf of the 33-year-old Aslan Youth Ministries.
Aslan helps empower children and teenagers who are growing up in poverty in Red Bank, Asbury Park and Long
Branch to step out of their circumstances in the service of others.
Tickets for the Gala evening are $125 each. A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible and will support Aslans many programs for children in Monmouth County and Haiti.
